ARGOVITA

Argo Vitae · A founder-led, pre-launch research marketplace concept.

We’re testing whether researchers, organisations, and authorised AI tools need a responsible way to fund voluntary human research participation.

Section I · The Marketplace

The Proposed Voyage

A Voyage is the unit of work ArgoVita is exploring: a clearly scoped, paid request for voluntary human research participation. The first viable version may be observational only. No Voyage is open, funded, or enrolling today, and the legal, consent, privacy, evidence, payment, and safety requirements must be resolved before any pilot begins.

  • Observational first.

The initial wedge under review avoids directed health interventions.

  • Evidence defined first.

A real poster must define the question and minimum useful evidence before recruitment.

  • Gated before launch.

Counsel, consent, vendors, insurance, and payment rails must be ready before money or data moves.

Section II · The Crew

The People We’re Listening To

ArgoVita is seeking interviews with adults about what would make paid research participation useful, fair, and trustworthy. Joining an interview or the interest list does not enrol you in a study, promise work, or guarantee payment. Please do not send health records or sensitive medical details through this site.

  • Adults only.

Discovery interviews are limited to adults. No study is open.

  • Fair compensation.

Any future pilot must state compensation, costs, and payment timing before consent.

  • Choice comes first.

An interviewee may skip a question or stop at any time.

Section III · The Ship

The Ship

One hypothesis is that authorised software agents could eventually help a human or organisational principal describe and manage a research request. ArgoVita does not currently have a public Agent API, autonomous counterparties, escrow, or an agent design-partner cohort. We are seeking interviews with teams before deciding what, if anything, to build.

The agent workflow is a question under discovery, not a live product claim.

AI makes cognition abundant.
Biology remains scarce.

Section IV · The Draft Operating Thesis

The Proposed Bridge.

Software may make a small firm more capable. Accountability still has to remain human, legible, and earned.

Proposed ArgoVita Operating ArchitectureFOUNDERMarketplaceSafetyGrowthContentBDSupportPlanned Decision Record

01 · The Founder

Accountable Today.

ArgoVita currently has one human founder and no employees, retained specialists, or operating agent pods. Material decisions remain with the founder.

02 · Possible Functions

A Design, Not a Team.

Marketplace operations, safety, growth, content, business development, and support are proposed functions. None is an operating department or autonomous decision-maker today.

03 · The Record

Planned. Not Built.

A structured decision record is a future governance goal. ArgoVita does not currently operate an immutable or append-only ledger and cannot offer one for audit.

The diagram is a design study for a later-stage operating model. It is not an org chart or capability map. Any future automation, specialist role, safety function, audit process, or recordkeeping system would require its own implementation, authority limits, testing, and human review before it could be described as live.

Section V · Discovery

Questions Before Voyages

These are discovery questions, not open studies, paid offers, or approved protocols. ArgoVita has no active Voyage, sponsor, participant cohort, lab, escrow account, or verified payout rail.

    Existing wearable-data feasibility

Can consenting adults share a limited export from a wearable they already use without creating an unnecessary privacy burden?

    Possible shape
A possible future feasibility study using an existing routine and a deliberately narrow data request. No supplement, fast, treatment, or behavioural instruction.
    Evidence sought
Participant trust requirements, data-minimisation limits, technical feasibility, and whether the result would answer a real poster question.

Discovery only · no sponsor, protocol, recruitment, or payment

The research request before the marketplace

Where do independent researchers, small biotech teams, and other potential posters lose time or confidence when recruiting human participants?

    Possible shape
A structured interview about the last real research problem, the current workaround, the budget owner, evidence needs, timing, and approval path.
    Evidence sought
A concrete problem with urgency, an identifiable decision-maker, an indicative budget, and willingness to document pilot interest.

Interviews only · no customer or design-partner claim

Square, stars, and a wave, a brass illustration for a participant-trust concept.

    Discovery · Participant trust

What would make paid participation trustworthy?

What would an adult need to understand about consent, withdrawal, privacy, evidence, compensation, and support before considering a future observational pilot?

    Possible shape
A research interview, not study enrolment. Interviewees should not send medical records, biomarker files, diagnoses, or other sensitive health information.
    Evidence sought
Clear objections, minimum trust conditions, acceptable communications, and reasons a person would decline even when compensation is offered.

Interviews only · no open Voyage and no payment promise

Agent Workflow Discovery · No API Available

Could an authorised agent help commission a future Voyage?

“Start with the principal, the real workflow, and the boundaries — then decide whether an API is needed.”

ArgoVita is looking for teams willing to describe a real research workflow: who the principal is, what question they need answered, what authority the software has, what budget exists, and what evidence would be useful. That conversation comes before endpoint design.

Current truth: no public API, no agent design partners, no autonomous counterparties, no escrow, and no agent-posted Voyage.

Section VI · The Manifesto

The Manifesto

We believe the human body is the most important and least respected research instrument on earth.

We believe many worthwhile questions about everyday human experience fall between commercial trials, academic incentives, and informal self-experimentation. That gap deserves careful study, not exaggerated certainty.

We believe pharmaceutical and academic research have produced extraordinary advances. A new marketplace, if it is useful at all, should complement those institutions rather than pretend to replace their expertise or safeguards.

We believe a future research marketplace could widen access to well-scoped, ethically reviewed participation while giving adults meaningful choice, clear consent, fair compensation, and control over their information.

We believe authorised AI tools may eventually help researchers structure questions and manage workflows. That is a hypothesis ArgoVita is testing, not a capability ArgoVita currently offers.

We believe people who choose to participate in legitimate research deserve to be paid fairly, treated with dignity, and told plainly what is known, what is unknown, and how their information will be used. We call future participants Argonauts.

We believe brands outlive companies and stories outlive brands. We chose a name from the oldest story we know about a crew of named heroes sailing into the unknown to bring something precious back. We chose it because the structure of that story is the structure of what we are doing, and that is not a coincidence; it is a recognition.

We believe a category that touches health, money, and personal information must earn the right to operate. ArgoVita will proceed only through evidence, qualified counsel, appropriate review, clear consent, and honest public claims.

We believe in the voyage. Set out.
